The DUO SONATINA is a three movement work which is scored for snare drum and tom-tom. The composer states, however, that any two drums of differentiated pitch may be used. The rhythmic patterns are not complicated but a careful balance between the two parts must be maintained. A good performance of this work would demand a great deal of musical skill. Traditional notation is used and the printing is excellent. Two parts each in score form are provided.
