	Taiko Machine is a high energy piece that has many unison and hocket style rhythms. The sound is reminiscent of the fast drumming section of [[Marimba Spiritual]] by [[Minoru Miki]], where the players are asked to play a steady eighth note rhythm in a high percussion sound while drums are interspersed in various rhythmical ways underneath the driving steady pulse. The mallet parts are used more percussively throughout the piece and are easily learned by beginning percussionists.
