Description
Equinox by Rick Dior is a large percussion ensemble piece for 10 players based on the passing of the sun across the equator. Crossing melodic motifs are designed to create a counterpoint-esque feel to the piece under the theremin melody, all of which combines to create a texture that mimics the piece's namesake.
