Percussion exams consist of three pieces, studies or scales and arpeggios, sight-reading and aural tests. Our new Percussion Syllabus is designed to offer a flexible approach to percussion assessment. There are exams at ABRSM Grade 8 Keyboard Percussion, ABRSM Grade 8 Snare Drum and ABRSM Grade 8 Timpani as individual, standalone subjects.
