Denver began attending Emporia State University in 2011, studying percussion performance and composition under the direction of Dr. Tracy Freeze and Dr. Andrew Houchins. Denver has performed in the ESU percussion ensemble, the Hornet Revue, Emporia State Wind Ensemble, and the Emporia Symphony Orchestra, and performed at KMEA, as well as the Kansas State Day of Percussion.
