Program Notes

On a poem by Federico Garcia Lorca "Berceuse" al espejo dormido . The theme of the lullaby is very present in the poetry of FG Lorca, himself having imbued the "infantile girls", popular Spanish melodies of the provinces of Galicia, Andalusia or Asturias. The "Berceuse au miroir dormant" is a mysterious poem, sibylline, narcissistic, evoking infinite reflections. The polyphonic treatment of voices attempts to translate these unfathomable and tragic echoes, chanted by percussion. [1]
