A composer and arranger of instrumental music with a focus on percussion. Eric is a deeply passionate musician and constantly strives to utilize all music has to offer. Starting writing in his youth, Eric has gained over a decade of compositional experience, and he continues to write music as his main profession to this day. Eric has performed with the Seattle Cascades Drum & Bugle Corps from 2009 to 2011. He played marimba in the pit in 2009, and quads in 2010 and 2011, aging out as the quads section leader. As a result of his drum corps experience, he's very fluent and enthusiastic in all that has to do with the activity. He's grateful to have gained an expanded musical vocabulary from drum corps and he uses this knowledge within his writing every chance he can. Eric has taught the percussion sections of several high schools in Western Washington including Lake Washington, Roosevelt, and Kamiak High Schools. He is known to enjoy teaching the most of any career and he looks forward to the next opportunity that works with his busy schedule as a composer.
