Frank Chapple has been a Texas Band Director for twenty one years and 15 years as the Feeder Pattern Percussion Director at Keller High School. He is responsible for the education of all percussion students at Keller High School, Keller Middle School, Indian Springs Middle School, Bear Creek Intermediate School, and South Keller Intermediate School. During his time at Keller High School, the program has grown over 200% from 19 to 62 percussion students. In addition to his responsibilities with the percussion program, Frank directs the Keller High School jazz bands.

Mr. Chapple has also been a performer and educator within the Drum Corps International community. After four years as a marching member of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, Frank spent the next twenty years teaching in DCI. In that time, he was an instructor for The Phantom Regiment, The Glassmen, The Crossmen, Carolina Crown, and The Madison Scout Drum Corps.

In 2015 Frank Chapple released his fundamentals based percussion curriculum, "The Packet." In the summer of 2015 he was an invited clinician at the Texas Bandmasters Association Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Frank graduated Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University and is a member of TBA, TMEA, PAS, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia as well as a sponsored educator of the Vic Firth Company and an artist endorser for Dynasty/Bergerault percussion. He is an active performer at his church in Keller, Texas, where he lives with his beautiful wife and daughter.
