Born in 1960, Jean-Luc Rimey-Meille is one of the founders of Percussion Keyboards Lyon where he played for 19 years. participates with Mark Foster the creation of Forum Ensemble, of which he is a soloist for 8 years. Since 1976, he regularly plays with the Orchestre National de Lyon and the Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Lyon.

He is a member of the Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain since its inception. He plays as an improviser with D. Lazro, E. Echampard, D. Badault, F. Corneloup, W. Puschnig, F. Raulin, M. Mandel, P. Berne, ...

Since 1993 he teaches percussion at the Conservatoire National de Region de Grenoble since 2002, CNR of Lyon. Also a composer, he wrote music for dance, theater, film music and instrumental music and choir (Terrestérité, Knitwear skins, Nel mezzo del camino, Atikapati, Janotus, people ...)

He recently produced a show for Percussion Keyboards Lyon on musics Frank Zappa "We Are Not Alone", created in December 2003 as part of the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Lyon.

Lyon Les Percussions Keyboards come to realize disc "Circus", dedicated to the music of Jean-François Estager (digital audio tape) and Jean-Luc Rimey-Meille (instrumental).[1]
