Program Notes

Three Spirals is a great marimba solo that is accessible by many marimbists as it is written for a 4.3 octave marimba. These three short pieces can be played individually, or as a set. The first is a kind of endearing introduction, the second is more rhythmic and the third is in a "liberate" style. Technically the 3 movements feature alternating , single independant and vertical strokes.
