Review - This medium-easy percussion ensemble calls for six players playing fairly traditional instruments. The opening tempo (whatever that may be since there is no indication) does not change throughout the piece. The work is in 4/4 meter throughout and the melodic work in the xylophone and vibraphone (or bells optionally) is based on the whole-tone scale and seems to be fairly challenging as compared to the other parts. There are no unusual techinques required and the piece would be quite suitable for a younger junior high or high school ensemble. - Michael Combs, October 1981.[1]
