Dan Gelber is a newly retired 38-year veteran band director. Dan has a bachelors degree in music education and percussion from the University of North Texas in Denton. He has a masters degree in music theory and composition from East Texas A&M in Commerce. His performance career includes performances with various bands, ensembles, orchestras, choirs, jazz groups, and drum and bugle corps. As a composer and arranger, he has written for concert bands, percussion ensembles, choirs, jazz bands, and strings. He is a member of TMEA, TBA, and PAS. He currently resides in Flower Mound, TX, with his wife Stephanie.[1]
