Fanfare for Tambourines by John Alfieri is the perfect showcase of tambourine extended techniques. This percussion ensemble features six players all with tambourines playing shake rolls, finger rolls, knee/fist technique, and playing on the tambourines with sticks while they sit on a Tom or bass drum.
