Program Notes

Publisher Review

This is your next powerhouse marimba concerto! David Long has written a difficult, but idiomatic, solo part with ensemble parts playable by a high school band. The orchestral version is exquisite. Beautiful melodies and harmonic language coupled with driving rhythms make this piece an audience favorite and a hit with the serious marimbist.
