Description

I wanted to make something that would sound somewhat Spanish, but would also have a South American flavor. Moreover, I wanted to do something with the 6/8th time signature. Ultimately, this all resulted in Border Crossing.

Playing tip

As always: when the electric bassist plays on a 5-string bass, he/she can always octave parts as much as possible! The same also applies to mallet players: sometimes certain notes may not be on the instrument used/available. Of course: then octaving is the solution! With letter D, the drummer/star can of course ad lib. fill in differently than stated now. As with all pop music, the groove is important. The written fills are of course a guideline, deviation from this because the drummer on duty has better fills is always allowed! If you manage to convey the feel of the song to the audience, the mission has been accomplished.
