Description
Final Hymn was written in commission of percussion ensemble "SDG Ommen" for the World Music Contest 2009 Kerkrade, and was performed as their final piece. A hymn-like theme emerges from a soundfield and is displayed several times in different forms and instrumentation. The theme develops towards the end in a final apotheosis where the ensemble is displayed in full color.
