The label HIP - Hits in Percussion was founded in March 2016 by Daniel Maggi and stands for popular, contemporary and sonorous arrangements for percussion ensembles. We try to make the arrangements true to the original but still technically simple so that the pieces can be played with a student ensemble or a percussion section of a Wind Band. Therefore the number of instruments and parts is kept as low as possible. If several marimba parts are written, they can always be played on one instrument. Also is as a 4-piece set of timpani sufficient to play / support the bass part.
