Scored for four players using: vibes, glockenspiel, brass and glass wind chimes, two small tam-tams, large tam, four anvil plates, four brakes drums, two triangles, maracas, temple blocks, four tom-toms, claves, castanets, and suspended cymbal. Interesting mood is created in quasi-programatic sound colors. Innovative staging and lighting may be added as desired. - Staff (Winter 1972)<ref>http://www.pas.org/resources/research/research-compositions</ref>

Composed for six percussionists, male narrator and female voice this work is inspired by the Voodoo religions' belief that the evil sorcerers (Bocors) have the power to raise the dead. Instrumentation and staging directions allow for dramatic intensity to be achieved in performance. Graphic and conventional notations are both used in this fine new work of 13 to 15 minutes duration. - Staff (Winter 1972)<ref>http://www.pas.org/resources/research/research-compositions</ref>
