Description

In the infinite number of universes parallel to our own, there are horrifying creatures of many shapes and sizes that aren't quite human and not quite animals either.

We see them in our nightmares and they also seem to appear when we're alone and when we least expect it. This is a percussion ensemble all about their world. Just like how there's always a bigger fish in the deep oceans, there's always a bigger demon in their world.

Structured in three movements, first, the listening victim is coldly welcomed to a strange world. Next, tension increases between conflicting beings and a battle breaks out. And thirdly, the biggest monster of them all is beckoned from the deepest and darkest realm of space and time.

The ensemble features just about as much chromatic tonality as one can handle. Spooky acoustic sound effects from auxiliary percussion and synthesizers make this piece more than your everyday percussion ensemble. It's more like a challenging but exciting horror movie arrangement!
