Dr. Juan Álamo is an internationally known performer, composer, and educator. He has presented master classes and recitals in Europe, Latin America and the USA. Currently, Dr. Álamo is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Percussion Ensemble at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Álamo is a performing artist endorsed by Yamaha, Meinl percussion and Encore mallets.
