Performed at the 2022 Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Indianapolis Indiana.

This is a six-mallet marimba composition with a three-percussion accompaniment. In the process of pursuing musical perfection, the composer has passed through many stages: quote chasing quote technical proficiency, "exploring" performance possibilities, "indecision" regarding the achievement of goals, a sense of "loneliness," and, in the end, a "commitment" to my love for music that kept me pushing forward. Accordingly, this composition is divided into 5 sections: "Chase, Exploration, Indecision, Loneliness, and Commitment" in an attempt to present the process and emotions along the road to perfection.
