Sonata No. 1 is a challenging four-movement work modeled after the violin sonatas and cello suites of J.S. Bach. It was commissioned by Andrew Eldridge through a Kickstarter project. The first performance took place on April 26, 2012 in PepsiCo Recital Hall at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, Texas) with Andrew Eldridge as the soloist.
