Description

Inspired by the well-known Japanese noval “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, the concerto has 3 movements Hope, Expect and Wish to express the entire story line. The first movement expresses the hope for the elder parents, having this daughter within the bamboo forest, what will happen to this family? The second movement represents the little girl growing up as a beautiful lady and while she realizes that she is adopted and she has to return to the shining moon. How is she dealing with her feeling? The 3rd movement expresses the fighting between the man, the king wants to own her, will this be possible? What do they have to do in order to gain her trust and let her stay here on Earth? Will she stay or still have to leave?
