Description

Rimbasly is a work for solo marimba now arranged with percussion ensemble accompaniment by composer Daniel McCarthy. Originally written for renowned marimbist Michael Burritt, this piece is technically challenging and very musically intense, providing an opportunity for experienced and proficient marimba players to showcase their abilities. The percussion ensemble accompaniment provides a sense of time for the soloist and the strong pulse and drum grooves enhance the marimba part.
