Program Notes

A Yuletide Celebration was commissioned by the United States Air Force Band Percussion Section for the band’s holiday chamber ensemble album, which was released in the winter of 2014. The arrangement draws from two of my earlier Christmas percussion arrangements – A Winter Postlude (Jingle Bells) for marimba quartet and Deck the Halls for solo marimba and djembe – and adds a newly-composed section of Jingle Bells.
